Gammil Longarm Class: Learn the basics of operating the machine: threading, winding bobbins, the importance of cleaning and maintenance, loading your quilt, basic trouble shooting, how to use patterns and templates, how to construct your own design. We'll talk about types of batting, loft, quilt preparation, and tips to make binding your quilt an easier job. Time for each participant to practice threading and running the machine is included. In addition to the class, you'll have a three hour practice session (to be scheduled at the time of the class) when you can quilt a project or just play around with designs. Bring a pad and pencil for notes and ideas, and bring your questions and quilting problems, as well.

Sandy's Machine Quilting Class - Beyond Stippling-You know how to load your quilt, you can do stippling and a few other basics... Now What?? Sandy will give you ideas that you can put on your quilt and how to get it there: Marking your quilt, Stencils, Easy pattern ideas, Quilting tips to make it better.
Bring pad and pencil and some quilt tops for ideas, and learn some easy quilting patterns. Take home a hand-out.
