Last spring we had a vendor in showing fabric samples and I found one that I thought was fun. I didn't know that Diane had purchased the fabric so what a surprise when I saw it in the shop. So, I had to make a sample with it. Finding a pattern for a 7inch focus square is not always easy but I had a new pattern from the NCW Harvest of Quilts show this month and with some tweaking, this is what I came up with. Wouldn't it be great for a grandchild who loves motorcyles?
wowsers! That is an *outstanding* layout! It reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright designs (which I obviously enjoy). Great way to showcase a focus fabric AND there are wonderful empty spaces for some fancy quilting! Lovely, lovely design! Well done!
